This is the combination of Calcium Phosphate and Vitamin D3. Calcium is absorbed in the intestine which then passes through the intestine to blood & deposited into bone. Without Vitamin D3 body will be able to absorb only 10% to 15% of the Calcium from the diet.

Thiazide diuretics reduce the renal excretion of Calcium. Phenytoin, barbiturates & glucocorticoids may induce metabolism of Vitamin D3. Intake of certain foods like spinach, cereals, milk and its derivatives may reduce the intestinal uptake of Calcium.
Flatulence, diarrhoea, constipation and allergic reactions etc are rare manifestation. Hypercalcemia due to prolong use has rarely been reported.
